I am a muscian and i load and unload heavy equipment and then stand up and play for 5 hours a night and then reload the equipment, i have tried several different belts but this one is by far the best one.it is easy to adjust the pads are soft enough and flat, i have a couple belts with harder pads but they hurt my hernia. also because this belt is flat it helps to hold the hernia in, The ones that are hard and push the hernia back in will make the hernia get bigger because whether pressure is being applied to the hernia from the outside or the inside it still will make it get bigger this is by far the best one out there . no body paid me or gave me a discount to type this review, i just like the product. Binder is soft but the Velcro tabs are sharp and difficult to unattach. Good for sleeping.

The binder is soft and comfortable but the velcro tabs are bare and a little hard to attach. There is no cloth tab at the end to grab on to . Therefore only 3 stars. Comfortable when adjusted properly but it takes time because of the way the velcro is attached. I plan on purchasing the Universal binder the next time.

I have worn these for many years and have not found a better one for the purpose. However, the straps that wrap around are not long enough to reach around my hips. I wear size 32 waist pants and order a 38 size brief for extra length belt.

This belt is perfect, found it while at my most dire need ever.
I came close to a strangulated mess, very ill. I use GNC 14 day to get feeling like superwoman and hurt myself, darn fool. So now GNC and this belt are putting me back together again. I have the hardest time with unexplained crazy water weight gain. This belt makes it so I can walk and even trim a horse’s feet. The ribs keep it in place and you don’t even know they are there. The oval pad is just what other belts are missing. You can move it anywhere too. The belt is easier to put on and easy to get off also.

I have a right side inguinal hernia, not terribly severe,
but certainly painful at times without good support.
This garment fits well, is easy to adjust, and is doing
exactly what I needed. I work a lot in the yard and
also exercise (treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike.)
No problems there! It’s easy to hand wash and appears
to be quite durable. I’m really happy with my choice!
